I bought three of these at the NMRA show the day they were debuted. The detail blew me away as well as the accuracy of the paint schemes, especially the IC. I like the way they just released the product without a lot of fanfare - makes speculation nil. I can’t wait to see what Dave does next!

I own 3 of these covered hoppers and hope they produce A Mopac version in the future. I know I’d buy at least 6 of them. Keep up the great work and look forward to your product.

I never cease to be amazed at the prices manufacturers can ask, AND GET, for their wares. A $43 freight car is a little off-putting. Of course, I am aware that extra detail costs money, and if the detail is there, people will choose to pay the price. I’m just glad I got more PS-2CD’s than the layout will hold, back when the kits were $5.95. Good Luck,Tangent, I hope you successfully balance price and content.

The details are great. The paint scheme is definitely the thing that brings out the realizism of the hopper.

I think $42.95 is way too much for one HO scale car. It seems like the manufacturers and dealers are pricing us right out of the model railroad hobby.

I bought the Milwaukee Road model of the 4740 and I must say that it is a welcome addition to my covered hopper fleet. I look forward to more of these. Think QUALITY not quantity on this one !

For the price of these cars, I might consider buying one if they included sprung trucks with rotating roller bearing caps on the wheel sets.
