I was looking at buying a new airbrush, it sells for around $100 and comes with 3 new airbrush kits and coiled lines and compressor…What do you think?

Perhaps if you provided a link to the info on the outfit you might get some replies. I’ve never heard of Taurus, which doesn’t really make a difference. But the whole outfit with compressor for only $100.00 doesn’t sound like it would be a very high quality one. Might be OK for a beginner and also might not last too long.
Canadian Tire semi regularly has air compressors with tanks for around $100.00. At least with these you could return them if they didn’t work right. Also Princess Auto often has inexpensive airbrush outfits for $10-25 on sale. Might be a better route to go.
I’ve never heard of the Taurus brand, but as a general rule air brush compressors that don’t have a storage tank, such as this one, deliver air in pulses with each stroke of the cylinder. This may be okay for simple tasks such as weathering rolling stock or track, but I would not consider it for uses requiring high precision.
I’d save my money and look elsewhere.
Great, thanks for the advice
I agree with the other posters. Sometimes buying the cheapest is not the way to go, you can become discouraged real quick. I have 2 Passche single action aribrush’s my dad bought back in the 50’s and they still work, though I did purchase 2 double action airbrush’s when I came back to the hobby after retiring. Quality is important in my opinion, when it comes to tools!
Where are you seeing that package for $100?? Cheapest I see it for is $159. The black handled single action brushes looking like $5 Badger knock offs.(crap) The chrome dual action might not be too bad. Your better off with a compressor that has at least a 1 gallon tank.
Someone on ebay had it for $99
