TCA Convention Questions

Although a member of TCA for 9 years, I have never attended a TCA convention before this year. Will be arriving on Thursday morning and staying at the Radisson.

I have a few questions maybe veteran attendees can answer:

  1. I have recieved only my tour confirmation sheets from TCA. Is there any other type of attendee information packet given to us at the Radisson upon arrival?

  2. I will be attending both the Welcome Party and the Banquet. Obviously the banquet will be jacket and tie - is there a dress code for the Welcome Party?

Any help here would be appreciated!

Answers based on my previous attendance:

  1. You should get a registration packet once you check in at the registration area. It will be stuffed with info about convention events, specials, local attractions, etc.

  2. No dress code for anything. Strictly casual. I recall at a previous convention event that someone threatened to go around with a scissors and cut off the neckties of anyone caught wearing one.
