"Terminal Track allows you to apply power to your train layout and provide a POSITIVE connection. They can also be used to take power off to power accessories. I find that the trains operate better with fewer unwanted uncouples, run stronger and smoother when power is applied to the track in a more than one location around the layout. This concept in most cases helps overcome loose rail joiners and the need to clean the track as often. It is a simple parallel wiring circuit. "
