i sure hope they move DUT #7, an 0-6-0 built to Espee plans with the station. i spent many happy hours riding around in its cab back in the 40’s but i didn’t see it in the list of equipment to be moved they posted a year or so ago. -arturo

It’s really sad that Dallas couldnt hold on to the museum. Having DART light rail to Fair Park made it accesable to a lot of people. Now you’ll have to drive way out in the country to see it.

Some equipment, including Santa Fe M160 is already at Frisco. I saw it when I stopped by the new home on Sunday.

I remember slumbercoaches on the NYC. Affordable way to travel in comfort between NY and Chicago. They should bring them back.

A third consist is enroute, currently sitting in the Irving yard. Check their Facebook page for details. Moves from their to the new site are unpredictable due to regular freight traffic. The State Fair starts tomorrow so most likely nothing more will move from downtown until after the fair ends.
