Kudos to Rollin Breedenberg. It has been relayed to me that he is responsible for allowing the Southern Pacific 4449 Daylight engine to operate on BNSF Lines, whereas the UP won’t.

Wouldn’t the connection arrangement have been with UP (not SP)? The southern connection is at Round Rock (ex-MP), and the eastern connection is between Taylor and Granger on the former MKT. SP never owned either route, and the closest SP track would have been at McNeil, which is about 5 miles south of Round Rock.
