Thank You MRR for all

[bow][bow][bow][bow][bow][bow][bow][bow][bow][bow][bow][bow]

With all the cabin fever running amok everywhere, I just wanted to say thank you to all my MRR buddies. Everyone has been so patient answering questions from this returning newbie. You have answered track questions, probably for the 1000th time, benchwork questions, DCC questions. We have drank way tooooooo much coffee and friee foods, thanks Mitchell. I have met an incredible 13 year old in Mitchell, he made cool train pics for my kids, that they think he is fantastic. And they learned about the otherside of the world when I showed them where Mitchell lives.

I have been sent an incredible train sounds system for free, from a tremendous guy Terry. Thanks a million. We make lots of train noise everyday.

I have been sent coffee from Canada by AJ. Thanks

I have started 3 friends into the world of trains locally, with more to come.

I met guys down at the San DIego Train Museum that are great guys, especially Doug and the 3 railers.

Thanks all for everything. Lets keep it positve. [:D][:D][:D][:D][:D][:D]

What are you thankful for on this forum ???

Tim,

Wow! And you just joined Dec 18th, just over a month ago. Great positive report!

Thanks for sharing,

Ryan

I too enjoy every minute of this forum.

Ken.[swg][yeah]

Well I’m thankful that that Al kalmbach guy made Model Railroader. It was what sucked me into model trains and I’m happy it did(the parents aren’t). BLI are considering doing the MR RSD15 I put in the topic congratulating MR. Thanks for being so kind everyone even when I swore and thanks Tim.
Mitchell

Tim,

Guys like you are what make the hobby fun and make this forum a valuable aid in the hobby. Don’t foget to turn around and help newbies if you happen to have the answer to questions or if they’re looking for an opinion.

Cheers, Peace, High Greens and 10-4!

I also enjoy this forum. Thanks to everyone!

Mitchell,

[8D] I enjoyed viewing your posted images on the RailImages site, thanks for sharing your dream! I really like the loco drawings, you have a great talent.

What medium or application do you use for creating the loco drawings and your railroad logos?

Yours in model railroading,

Ryan

uhh…paint

Great! [:D]

Even better, I thought you might be using some form of computer aided drafting (CAD) program or tool. That is awsome, you really are an artist! You have a future career in mechanical drawing and drafting.

I enjoy painting landscapes with watercolor.

Thanks,

Ryan

I too enjoy this forum. Its one of the few good things I have left.

I LOVE YOU GUYS!

Turbo One,

Suggest you go see my buddy Scott at the Whistle Stop on 4th Avenue (Hillcrest area). He is open Tuesday-Saturday and you won’t find a better guy to deal with. Tell him Burlington John Lewis sent you and he might not kick you out (JUST KIDDING).

A customer for nearly 14 years now, he is one of the truly nice guys in the hobby. I still do most of my business with him even though we now live in Missouri!

Regards (and have a double-double at In-n-Out for me),

Burlington John

I have enjoyed the members, the great ideas and helpful hints, the layout pictures that people share, pictures of the wives (Tim)[:D], and the coffee shop. Great guys!!! A couple of guys need to have an attitude adjustment, but that is natural in any large group.

This is awesome !! A positive thread that hopefully brings cheer to all. It has brought a lot of cheer to me.

AntonioFP45 I try to answer most newbies, especially since they ask the same questions that I did when I started.

***, thanks for always complimenting the better half. I ain’t bad either. [:D][:D]

John, a double in n out sounds so good, especially animal style.

AggroJones “Love you man” [:X]. Seriously, your wisdom is one of the reasons I enjoy this forum. [:p]

Big Boy, your layout is something I can only dream of. Thanks for sharing your knowledge that you have acquired over the years. I wish when I went back to the twin cities that I had an opportunity to see you display in MOA.

Ryan what a pleasure to see you on here. Very positive. You always make someone feel welcome. I hope I can do it as well as you.

Ken, always enjoy when you visit and I like your handle.

Take care and keep them coming guys, lets make this the thread we all can look at when we have a tough thread.

Tim

Tim you are no dought a very good person your positive attitude is allways a welcomed addition to the pages of this forum. This is a great place and i am thanfull for its many members who share their advise, humor, and experience Having fun, sharring and helping eachother whenever we can, the whole world could take a lesson from the many people here. We all fall at times so I would just like to say to any who I may have offended or those I have been offended by { IT AIN’T NOTHING BUT A THING} My Brothers I will strain my arms to carry you if indeed you need me to .Peace to all Terry

The neatest thing about this board is the excitement it can generate. I was always sitting the fence on DCC - but how can I resist when I see post after post talking about how really easy it is after you get the hang of it and how way cool sound is. I also really enjoy reading about what projects different folks are working on and the difficulties they have encountered (I thought I was the only person that starts a kit bash and ends up with a bashed kit lol).

We got a great hobby made up of great folks!

I find this board very informative and entertaining. Its been a great resource. Thanks to all.
