[tup][tup] for this thread! This forum is great! I have been modeling trains off and on for 25 or more years and I have learned sooooo much here that I didn’t know or hadn’t thought about. Trouble is I am spending much too much time here instead of building that pike in the basement. [;)]

I like the idea of being able to ask a silly question (by me or someone else) , and get an almost immediate answer from people who have been there, done that. Even if you don’t need all of the threads in this site, it’s still nice to be able to read about things you only think about for your layout, but may not need. So be forewarned, when I tear down my existing layout (well, half of it), for a more simple style, get ready for a lot of stupid questions from someone who has been at this for 30 years. A big thank you to all who have posted questions and answers to some of my thoughts and ideas but I never asked them. THEY WERE ALREADY HERE!
