Thank you for your service to our country. You are the real heroes. You are the backbone of this country. You are why I get to live the life I choose to live and enjoy the freedoms I do.
Happy Veteran’s Day!!!
We Need You On That Wall!!! (A Few Good Men reference)
I spent close to two hours yesterday chatting with my Father-in-law who fought in the Pacific theater during WWII. Usually a very modest and close to the vest guy, he finally shared some fascinating stories as well as some terrifying ones about his service to his country. I could only thank him for the freedoms I enjoy and promise to share my knowledge of history with the younger generations whose knowledge of the veterans’ sacrifices is confined to a chapter in a history book or a movie on TV.
I appreciate your thoughts in the name of the fellow vets I work, and serve every day. I enjoy my job at the Veterans Affair hospital here in Columbia, S.C.
I get to hear stories everyday some believable some well you feel stretched a little but who knows some of those guys are best we had and now the ones in the military now are the best we have and to me there all doing a great job and I salute all of them and would be proud to have any of them beside me when I was in.
