It seems Walthers donated an entire PRR Broadway Limited trainset to the Pennsylvania Railroad Museum.
It’s good to see companies doing good for the community and history.

Way to go Walthers! [Y]
Yeah, I’ll go a couple thumbs-up on that… specially since they had the good taste to make it PRR… not that I’m particularly biased or nothin’…

I am part of a group organizing a train show in the spring, and the level of support we have been getting from model railroad manufacturers and hobby shops for our raffle table is amazing.
Lionel donated a train set (Pennsylvania Flyer) without being asked for that, just a freight car or two would have been good. Other companies like Exactrail, Intermountain, and so on. VIA Rail donated a round trip for two.
A local discount store donated 5000 bags, and a gift certificate too.
Proceeds from the raffle will support a residence at the hospital for families to stay at while their children recieve treatment for serious issues (life limiting illness, pain management, end-of-life care), so I am hoping that the raffle is a big success.

Man, you must have been really tired, after sitting there with 5,000 bags under your eyes…
