I was getting a case of the heebee geebees.

Me too.
True, although after getting my legs under me on the other forum’s organization, I find I quickly adapted and now coming back here makes me feel like I’m in a big room hollering across it as I try to carry out a conversation.
I have to admit, I find the more granular organization of the other forum to make my forum time feel more productive. That other forum is too granular, but the basic idea is a good one and I’d like to see a happy medium develop over here.
Being all in one big forum category like this makes it real easy for a troll to throw a smoke-bomb and get us all in one fell swoop. In the other forum we fled to over the weekend, I don’t think a troll would even know where to begin … and many of us would never even know they were there, even if they did throw a smoke-bomb in somewhere.
With a more granular organization like is on the other forum, a troll has his work cut out for him if he wants to smoke bomb the place.
Double ditto… I thought they were going to have to put me on medication ([:p]).
I sure missed you guys.

I was certainly glad to see everone together talking trains this weekend.
As for me, I’ll be in and out here as usual but, well, I consider “the other forum” to be my real home on the web now. I hope ya’ll will still spend some time there in the future . Later for now, Eric

[#ditto] I’m glad that forums aren’t like wives, i.e., that you can only belong to one. From now on I’ll be spending equal time in BOTH places!
Yes, thanks! It’s so nice to be branching out.

Ditto to what Chip said (Thanks GrandeMan).
I’ll be spending a lot more time over there, too!
If I ever get my registration email, I’ll check the other one out. There’s another I joned that also has a more broken-out section list - by each scale plus scenery, construction, and dcc, not to mention all the prototype sections.

Like I said on another thread, I’m just here to check out the buzz, so I like it all in one forum. I go to the others occasionally to learn up on a topic but mostly I like this one the way it is
