I put a lot of work into this video, narration is something I hope to add more of in the future. I also want to add some maps, but I never know the best way to do so. Anyway, I hope you enjoy my thanksgiving on the Hudson…
Nice job.
I ended up “casting” the video from my tablet to my Roku stick on my big screen TV. Great for the video, however the audio ended up significantly delayed. So the captions were a great help.
Is that a new camera? Image looks sharper.
It’s an iPhone 11 (I think, they come out so fast these days I can’t keep the numbers straight). I’m shooting at 1080p 60fps.
In this short video we catch a pair of BNSF units including a “H1” unit trailing.
It’s that time of year… for the 2021 recap video. Enjoy!
Absolutely superb Harrison! Well done! Well done indeed!
I spotted a type of freight car in the video that I have never seen before-- a depressed center bulkhead flatcar. Here is a photo from a different site. Is this type of car common?

I wonder. I’ve never seen one around here.
Car appears to be AOK 21993
I’ve noticed a few of those depressed-center centerbeams lately. I try to grab photos of them because they’re so unique.
Just got around to watching it - nice job!
As an aside - avoid using quotes in your thread titles. I don’t know about anyone else, but i get HTML instead of the quotes.
Harrison, You continue to impress with what you put up for us railfans. I suspect we are at the beginning of what is yet to come. Your choice of music matched the action in the videos and hightened the experience. Or said simply, “I LIKE IT”. Thanks. I look forward to when your travels take you to the BNSF transcon and to the west coast. You have just begun your travels and much awaits you. Or as one radio personalitity used to sign off, “KEEP ON KEEPING ON.”
Oh, Harrison, you CAN correct that mess your thread title turned into.
Click “edit” and re-type the title line. That’s all you need to do.
Thank you all, and I will fix the title.
