I’m probably the only person here that likes the video. My nephew and I get a kick out of it. (he falls on the floor laughing so hard)
I go to the Atlas site and watch it when I’m feeling down. Hilarious.

It is really starting to grow on me…
When I posted that link I was just pointing out the grand entry that Atlas was using for the new Trainman Line when somebody mention it could be the advertising…I find this ad campaign to be funny and had a chuckle over the woo-woo and the moon walking dog.[:D]
Almost as good as the Bud Light “Real Men of Genius” series about “Mr. Miniature Train Modeller.”

I don’t think the Atlas Trainman song/video was intended to be funny. It’s funny/strange to me, but playing it to non model railroaders would you “woo woo” along with the music? It’s dopey, would make anyone who seriously models railroads out to be a “trainman” like playing with trains… If you have Lionel stuff, running it around in circles on your living room floor, then I imagine it would be great to show to your friends.
I cannot see where a dopey ill conceived commercial like this would help our hobby in any way. And most model railroaders feeling the same doesn’t equate to the hobby dying.
