Buy two, you might need a second lottery for the return trip. Unfortunately, Amtrakhas been forced to make alot of price hikes for Private cars.
Several years ago the convention required the cars to come through Chicago. The IC line thourgh Joliet had two or three Amtrak trains a day. Each one had 5-10 private cars on the back end heading for Union Station for a couple of days. My boss couldn’t understand why I couldn’t leave the plant until 10:00Am when the last one would be coming through right past my office window.
