This might sound weird, but would you have prefered New York Central or Pennsylvania Railroad to come out on the top if they wouldn’t have merged. Yes, you can put down B&O or C&O etc.
I have always preferred the mighty Pennsylvania Railroad, Standard Railroad of the World[:)]!

Absolutely the Pennsy. A very special railroad indeed. The NYC was merely the CNW of the east. Not bad but not Pennsy.

New York Central was nice and all, but the PRR seemed more better. With there classical electrics, there beautiful steamers, and nice deisels. They were special indeed!

PRR most definately. It’s kind of like how the Philadelphia Eagles are better than the New York Giants[:D][:D][;)]
Seriously, it amazes me the sheer variety of equipment the Pennsy had over it’s lifetime, the amount of reseach they put into new designs(T1. etc), and the huge amount of what they created that is still visible if you know where to look[:)] I could spend a year of reading and not touch half of what has been published on them.
