The California Zephyr through the mountains

Beautiful!! Would love to see an article about this model railroad in an upcoming MR. Thank you for submitting this video.

Magnificent job. The scenery adds the ultra-realistic effect. I assume this is an HO model given the Mars light on the PA.

I especially enjoyed watching the signals change aspect! That always adds a bit of realism.

Thank you! Wonderful excursion video.

Outstanding! I have this exact train but no layout to run it on.

Great video of a layout showing the beauty of our west. Very good job of the lighting as it got continually darker, just like a real twilight.

Maan, Breath taking, in the scenes where you can’t see the building it is in, it looks sooo real & made my imagination go wild about actually being on that train, fantastic layout !!!

WOW, never saw a full train like that. The layout is superb. Thanks for sharing.

So realistic that I was getting nostalgic for the real Zephyr! A layout to be proud of.

Really nice! I like that it shows the whole train going by.

Very impressive. An outstandingly beautiful layout. Thanks for sharing.

Very nice video. The Rio Grande ran the CZ with a three unit brace of Alcos, in an A-B-A configuration, not four units, and in the four stripe version. As the years passed, passenger F-3s became the normal power for the California Zephyr.

Awsome! I would also like to see the scenery during “daylight”. What make are the model Alco locos and the cars?

A really nice video. Excellent lighting and the sound certainly adds realisim. I felt as if I were sitting on the mountainside watching the train go by. You must be very proud of this layout.

Makes me want to get on the
Harley and visit the Keddie wye !

Beautiful !

Very nice layout. Enjoyed train going through the mountains. Would be nice if it had some background noise and sounds of the train as it goes by.

Great layout! very nice detail!

This is excellent! Very inspirational. Really enjoyed the video.

Fantastic. I myself worked for the D&RGW seeing this video brings back fond memories.
