I wondered who all is going to the show on the 3rd and 4th at the restored Canada Southern station and Railway museum. The station is starting to look like its glory years. The museum will feature the Empress of Agincourt, #9 steamer, and other equipment (CN hudson).
I hope everyone can make it out, to show the support to both organizations for their hard work and dedication.
I’m going to St. Thomas Dragway on the 3rd so I’m going to try and make it sometime in the afternoon after I’m done racing. I might be there earlier if I’m happy with my cars performance after the changes I made to it.
So how are they comming with the repairs to the old Museum building[?] are they still trying to get the shops roof done or is it still in a holding pattern.
First off, its the Elgin County Railway Museum, not the St. Thomas Railway Museum.
Secondly, roof repairs are not and will not happen until the museum owns the building. Negotiations with CN have been on going for quite a while now, but no agreement has been reached yet. Until that happens the museum will not even consider putting hundreds of thousands of dollars into a building they don’t own.
