Good late evening everyone.

Anyway, it’s steadily raining here in Sacramento, CA. We can definitely use the rain. [:)]

I do have an appetite…an appetite for destruction[:D] (just found out emotcons are hard to do on an ipod touch.)
I found that can opening thing amusing as well too.reminded me of opening a can of sardines for some reason.
Seeing that truck trapped underneth a low clearance bridge always makes me laugh
Think I will have a cup of decaf tea before turning in. About the appetite for destruction, I meant that for the cold, it’s days are numbered
good morning
will take some leftover pizza for breakfast.juice coffee and hot chocolate are ready for today.there will be bacon eggs and pancakes in the warmer bar shortly.csx was running lefthanded yesterday for some reason.the guys on the I&O had to wait on at least 3 intermodals at hamler. Also the 501 was later than the 500 thru deshler.going to need the rain gear today.

Good Sunday morning!! Nice here this morning, with a temp in the low 40s. Joe, thanks for making the coffee, juice and hot chocolate! Everything looks so good, that I can’t decide what I want for breakfast! Guess I’ll just have to sit here and cogitate for a few, as to what I want to eat this morning.
Glad everyone enjoyed the pizzas and popcorn last night. I’ve got Sunday Dinner going in the Crock Pots: Rump roast w/potatoes, carrots and onion. Around 10 a.m., I’ll put the green beans and corn on, and start making biscuits and rolls to have with the roast, along with making fresh garden salads and cole slaw. Think we’ll also have some broccoli casserole.
Hope everyone has a great morning, and I’ll see you after awhile.
[dinner]
I am definitely coming over for the rump roast with potatoes, carrots and onion for Sunday Dinner. [dinner]
The rump roast, taters, carrots, onion, beans, corn, etc., are ready and on the warmer bar. For dessert today, your choices are: chocolate cake, German chocolate cake, pecan and pumpkin pies (getting prepared for Thanksgiving next week), and ice cream.
It’s pretty cloudy and overcast here. Looks like we may have a chance of some rain later. Nothing yet, though (at least in our area). Just a really dreary day out.

Duff, if you like Sardines[xx(] then you’ve got an appetite! No Thank You.
(got very sick on them years ago and won’t touch them now.)
As far as that truck driver goes, I could have sworn that he kept saying;
“the dispatcher told me to go this way.”
Cw thanks for supper tonight.a big Thank You to all the veterans out there.without them we wouldn’t be here.been raining on and off all day today.well time to help matt with a project.

Yuuuuck…Sardines…Gross!
As for the truck driver…
Cop: Did you know the clearance was low?
Driver: Yes
Cop: Did you see all the signs posted that the clearance was low?
Driver: Yes
Cop: So why then did you decide to go through the bridge?
Driver: I dunno
[:D][:D]
Good Monday morning to all! Hope everyone had a good weekend, and is ready to get back to the old grind this morning.
Coffee is on and ready to pour; fresh juices are made; heating milk for hot chocolate, and there’s hot water on for tea and cocoa.
On the warmer bar this morning, we have: turkey bacon, sausage links & patties, scrambled eggs, hot buttermilk biscuits and sausage gravy, and the following danish: raspberry, cherry, apple, and peach; also have cinnamon rolls, and muffins: oat bran, blueberry, and chocolate, along with the prerequisite beagles and bear claws.
Our temps this morning are in the mid 50s, looking for a high around 60, with a 20% chance of light rain. Most of the rain is to be just north of us, and it is to very quite windy.
Duff, I’m with you: yuck to sardines!! Can not stand them at all.
Everyone have a great day, and if you have any lunch/supper requests, let me know!!

I love Sardines, especially with mustard sauce, but again, I like pickled pig’s feet too! 33 this morning with a thick frost. A nice Carolina morning. Now, off to look for pancakes. Today is 1) Look for pancakes, 2) go to the wound center (Yes, it’s open today), 3) look for pancakes, probably come home and eat baloney for lunch, schmooz for a while and then to a local eatery for a free veteran’s supper. Ta for now
Tom

Good morning everyone. (By the way, it’s spelled “bagels”.)
(Grabs plate of sausage links, one peach danish and one bear claw along with a big mug of coffee [dinner] )
By the way, I only like sardines in tomato sauce.
Did you see that YouTube video of the UP AC4400CW literally having an engine blowup on another message thread here? [:O] GE had a lot of problems with the older prime movers on the U33C and U36C locomotives (including engine explosions), and that’s why Southern Pacific never subjected those locomotives to the General Rehabilitation and Improvement Program (GRIP) upgrades like they did to the EMD fleet.
Can we have a big pot of beef stew with cornbread for lunch? [dinner]
SG, know it’s spelled b-a-g-e-l-s, but I type b-e-a-g-e-l-s for the Mookster; that’s a nickname she has for bagels.[:)]
And there is a big pot of beef stew on the stove. Will be leaving in about 30 minutes for the airport, so if one of you could please put the cornbread in the oven, at 10:30 for me, I’d really appreciate it!! It’s already made up, and in the cast iron skillets. So, it only has to be put into the oven, for 25-30 minutes, and the cornbread will be ready when the stew is ready, for lunch! THANK YOU!!
I sort of knew that was a joke so I never bothered correcting the spelling. I have a pet peeve against spelling police anyway…since I have a tendency to either misspell words, or forget to spell check.
Ewwww I think I lost my appetite again…sardines…gross!
Think I will have some beef stew and a BEAGEL! muahahaha!
I’ll pop in for a bit and grab a bite. Lots of clients today!
My videos of SOO 1003 (from Saturday) already have quite a few views…I forgot how neat steam is!
I will take a pre-requisite beagle, but would rather have a blueberry if that is ok…
Mookie, you can have a beagle anytime you want it, along with a blueberry muffin! Glad to see you back in. Saw you-know-who off at the airport, then came home. Got home sometime after 2.
Got some more beef stew and cornbread ready for the next go-around. (Late lunch in the west, early supper in the east).
Mutt is feeling under the weather today, so not sure you’ll see him in this evening. Be back later.
CW thanks for the stew.Mutt takes 2 bowls of stew and call us in the morning.I have some dessert tonight too.Its grandmas special pumpkin pie.we can get matt to finish his supper with grandmas special pumpkin pie.
