I hope you don’t mind:
Mike.
Thanks Mike, how’d you do that? I could not get it to show.
Right click on the picture, then click on Copy image address. Go to your post, click on the Picture icon, and paste.
If this is your photo hosting site, there should be other ways for you to post, but what I described pretty much works on any picture, no matter where it’s located.
Mike.
Thank you sooo much. Although I sit in front of a computer 8 hours a day (for the last 20 years), I am still mystified by some apps.
I’m not seeing anything. Must be one of the few picture hosts that don’t show at work. Most do however.
Nice work!
Dave
Nice work. Love the back drop.
That is a very pleasing scene. Great work!

Looks really nice!
Okay, you have to tell us how you did the backdrop in the last picture! It is amazing!
Thanks,
Dave
Hello All,
Looks great!
Hope this helps.
Damn, keep forgetting to check at home where the photo host being used isn’t blocked. Most aren’t blocked at work but this one is.
I’ll second that. Tell us more about that wooded backdrop.
Rich
All the backdrops on this layout came from William Prusso at TRAINJUNKIES. His stuff is great, his web site is: https://www.trainjunkies.com/
.
It looks very good. Thank you.

Finally checking topic at home where the photo host isnt blocked.
Looks great. Good back drops really make a huge difference. The rest looks very good too. The only thing missing is a comlete ballast job on the track.
Oh I agree. My philosphy on ballast is different than what the magazines tell us, I get ALL of the scenery on both sides of the track done, and THEN I put on the “finishing” ballast. That way it looks like the land was there first, and then they laid track.
I have little experience with balancing but that does make sense to me, this way you don’t have to go and touch up the ballast latter after adding scenery. You may want to add a few, scattered weed in the ballast latter though, just to add to the realism.
Also are you planning on painting the track? The black ties look king of strange!
