This is our new location, folks. All hands lay back to the yall haul and bring the tables, java machine and stock over here. See ya later
…And just leave all the jack O lanterns at the old place. And any and all pumpkins.
…bring your good candy (chocolate) and fruit.

Good Sunday morning. Tom, thanks for making the move. All the furniture, railroad layouts, CD player, juke box, all the tables, booths, and et.al. have been moved over. (The pumpkins were left behind, though.
Coffee, juices, hot drinks are ready to go. On the breakfast/warmer bar this morning: oatmeal, grits, toast, biscuits & gravy, bacon (turkey and pork), pork sausage, scrambled eggs, tater tots, hash brown taters, pancakes and waffles, along with oranges, bananas, strawberries, blueberries.
Everyone enjoy your breakfast, have a good morning, and if you’ll be heading out to Church, work, or whatever you have planned for this morning, be safe and take care. (P.S.: I just got the Crock Pots/Slow Cookers started with roast, tater, carrots in them for our Sunday Dinner. If you’d like to have any other meals this afternoon, let me know and I’ll get started on preparing/fixing them.)
34 degrees, lots of frost and bright sunshine blazing in my eastern window now. Clear skies and I believe we’re to have quite a bit of it this week.
Most of our clocks are now changed, but not quite all…Think there is something like 17 or 18 of them. Watch changed at midnight and 3 of my other {radio controlled} clocks changed sometime during the night…I imagine at 2 am…but I certainly wasn’t up to see…
Now it’s get the one’s in the veh’s changed…and several others yet. Oh, will it ever get dark early this evening…Sundown here, about 5:45. Now we’ll just have to push Fall / Winter along as fast as we can.
A ‘brisk’ 34 this morning. Leaves were crunchy when the 4 legged vacuum cleaners went out to relieve themselves. I’ll spend the AM with Misty and Aedan, and then the afternoon will be spent attempting to control the ‘tree rat’ population around Waupaca. Hopefully…I’ll be able to sneak back to Anton Siding (near Weyauwega…sorta) and catch CN today.
good morning
off to church and sunday school.Matt and I had a good time at BOO town and the parade last night. When we were done they were still floats and groups for about two blocks to go through town.Cw thanks for supper for tonight.Wonder if a certain viking will get pelted with cheese this afternoon.

Dan! It is SO GOOD to see you back in here: you have been missed!!
The roast, taters, carrots have been taken out of one of the Crock Pots/slow cookers, and is now on the warmer bar. Here is your choices of vegetables/side dishes to go with them: green beans, creamed corn, whole kernal corn, broccoli w/butter sauce, brussels sprouts w/cheese sauce, baked cornbread (unsweetened & cake-like sweetened), crescent rolls, homemade buttermilk biscuits, and there’s plenty of beef gravy.
Desserts today: pumpkin pie, pumpkin cake (tastes just like a spice cake), yellow cake w/chocolate icing, along with all the Halloween candies, including the good chocolate candy treats) and coconut cream pie.
Believe our high today is to be in the upper 50s, maybe low 60s. Everyone enjoy your afternoon, and take care.
Paula,
Thanks for supper. I have something to add.
My mom has prepared a sugar cream pie for us. I also have an apple pie, coconut cream pie, and cheery pie. Yall’ eat up now.
A nippy 33* this morning. Not sure of the temp now, but I know is supposed to be cool.
Have a good evening.

Justin…Look in the current {December} issue of TRAINS mag. and you will find a photo that was taken {in Lafayette}, same location your previous Avatar photo was snapped. Don’t have the mag. in front of me now, but believe it was page 58.
Drag, drag, drag, collapse.
Just got in from at trip to NJ with our railroad’s master mechanic. Left here early Saturday morning, got there just in time to catch the train in Phillipsburg. Rode in the hack for part of the trip, with the conductor. Spent time in the cab of Susquehanna 142, too. And it rained…
Left there this morning with a planned stop at Steamtown. After paying a visit to the GVT dispatcher (in the Bridge 60 tower), with whom we regularly converse when getting our Form D’s, we toured Steamtown and took a ride behind 2317 around the yard.
Swung by Tunkahannock Viaduct (as well as Martin’s Creek) on the way north, too.
I’m pooped.
Joe, looks like that certain Viking had the last laugh…
Good Monday morning, everyone. Brian, it’s good to see you got to make it in here last night! You are another one who has been missed in here (at least by me!).
Coffee, juices, and our hot beverages are ready, along with plenty of hot water for hot tea.
On the warmer bar this morning: all the normal goodies (breakfast menu, including prerequisite bagels and bear claws).
For your lunch today, I’ve got a couple of choices for you all in the slow cookers, heating for the day. I have another meeting to go to this morning, and will probably be gone until sometime this afternoon, so I won’t be around. Also, tomorrow, I go back to the orthotics center, and not only will I won’t be in here, but I won’t be taking care of Tuesday Produce, either.
So you all have a good morning, and take care.
I’ve been extremely busy at work, and this week is shaping up to be a continuation of same…
good morning
a clear and cool start this morning.matt is on time for the bus.Cw thanks for breakfast.time to get a nap then going to do some chores.Yep I guess more fans in green bay aren’t going to wear # 4 anymore.

Frosty morning here in the north woods of the Empire State. At least the sun was out for my drive to work (thanks to that pesky time change).
Even though I really didn’t get to bed all that early, at least I enjoyed the “extra hour” of sleep…
'Claw and tea and a seat in the new corner booth.
40 degrees earlier this morning…Not bad, with light clouds and some sun. To be 58 by afternoon and I intend to take advantage of that to do yard work…Leaves, etc…{The tractor will do it}. Looks like a generally calm week weather wise.
Wow…Thanksgiving sneaking up on us already.
The shreader is being worked pretty hard behind me in here this morning, as Jean is catching up on getting rid of stuff that accumulates.
Well, I made it back, all in one piece, albeit, a very tired, and achy piece. Had to do a lot of standing, which I can’t seem to do too much of anymore, as my hips start to ache very much.
For supper tonight, there is:
-
Leftover roast, taters, carrots, etc. from yesterday and
-
Sloppy joes w/fried and garden salad
I did make a mistake this morning on my appointment calendar. So I will be in here tomorrow. It is next Monday that I will not be in here around lunch time. Also, next Friday, the 13th, I won’t be in until around mid afternoon.
It shaped up to be a pretty good day here, with plenty of sunshine, with a very light breeze blowing. Everyone enjoy the rest of the afternoon and evening and you all take care.
In the immortal words of Pogo Possum, Friday the 13th will be on a Friday this month…
Got a meeting after work. In fact, I’ve got a bunch of meetings this week… Sheesh!
CW, thanks for supper.
Our school hasn’t changed their clocks back. We get out at 3:05pm, so the clocks said it was 4:05 when we got out. Kind of awkward.
Had a good day over all. Hoping the turnouts for my layout will be coming soon.
See you al later.
Justin
