Sounds like a wonderful story…although I did not know U.P. had tracks and ran trains in West Palm Beach, Florida.
I was wondering about that at first too, but wrote it off to the fact that I was tired and my brain wasn’t working right.
In as much as we can’t hear DaveBr’s tones of inflection, maybe he can provide some more information as to just what the heck he is talking about.

From what I gather - a woman was going to the hospital in labor, and got stopped by a train, and had her kid. Sorry, but that is not the engineers fault at all if that is what happened.
