The Great Train Expo

Hi All,

I just saw on TV that there will be a train Expo this weekend. About 1 1/2 hours away from me. Just wondering if anyone else is planning on going to it or if anyone has been to this one in the past.

It’s what was formerly called “the Greenberg Show”. I’ve made the 1 3/4 hr trip from Phila a number of times. Lots of dealers and stuff to look at. Not great price-wise, although deals can be found like Polar Express sets for $200., and a loop of FasTrack for $24… Lionel houses/buildings for well-under MSRP. Postwar trains are generally high-priced. Good AF postwar selection, lots of newer MTH engines. For me, just “looking” is worth the trip. Joe

I belive you are talking about the Edison show? I go every year and its probaly one of the largest shows in the area. The prices arent great, but probaly the same as a dealer, except at a show u can hagle down the prices. But i like the show, and ill def. be there.

Of course it helps that its only 20 mins from me

I saw the ad also. Not much for shows but I might just try it. (Of course, I will probably have to think of a good excuse to tell the “boss”, especially if I wind up buying something)
