Nice. I like the special effects of seeing it from the engine cab!
Unique! I am a model railroader and trainsimer too. This is the first instance I can recall using a superimposed cab on a real world pike tour. This view is what I see every time I take out one my MSTS F units on my 120 mile long simulated railroad. I enjoyed your work very much. It is clear that you are a “thinking” railroader as well as an excellent modeler.
Very, very nice…and thanks for the tasteful music. Looks like a real “operating” model railroad. And I appreciated the slow, much more realistic speed of the train.
Nice layout. Nice Video. Thanks for sharing
Great layout. Great ride. Novel idea of superimposing a cab interior over the actual camera work, very realistic, nice speed control. Could do without the nine plus minutes of the same music or, if you must use it, at least muffle it down to a background level and put in the sound of the diesel engine of the unit we were "riding"in. Another interesting feature was the coverage of the “two loop” helix. Cannot say I have ever seen that before, sort of like a “behind the scenes” of the workings of a model railroad. Also, a nice transition from the lower to the upper level as I really did not pick up on it until we got to the “down” helix. Overall a “4,” (would have been a “5” but I’m not a big fan of “music videos,” sorry.)
WOW, WHAT A LAYOUT AND VIEWING FROM THE F UNIT CAB, GREAT.
That was great. You have very smooth track. Thank you.
Impressive! Prime time show. Your a model railroader!
Awesome experience to be able to “ride in the cab” and see this wonderful layout. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for this. I could not make any sense out of your article in MR, but now I see that you have the mainline as a tail track for switching your new staging yard. I thought that it was only 7’ long and butted against a wall. Very confusing article.
