The K-Line Goes INTERNATIONAL!

Let me be the first to say, that during the first week of 2007, I will be in London, England, UK, visiting a friend. Of course, I will take pictures, and post them my RRpicturearchives.net site.

Of Course, I will be taking the spirit of American Railroading with me in the form of 4 HO Scale models (2 DRGW SD40T-2’s, and 2 Alton and Southern GP38-2’s) and a DVD of my Home video, My best footage of 2006. I will be takening 50 copies to give away to our Railfan Brothers in the United Kingdom!

I don’t know if I will be able to get on the boards while I am gone, but I will surely do my best! Wish me luck!

Have a good trip. Don’t expect to get much sleep on the eastbound “redeye” leg across the pond; we didn’t get any sleep on our recent trip across the pond in October. While I doubt if you will have too much hassle bringing HO gauge locomotives on board in your carry-on, it might be a good idea to check with your airline beforehand. Of course we will require a full report of your trip especially good places for photography.

I hope you are aware that their TV system is different than ours. Their DVD Players and TVs work on the PAL system, while ours use the NTSC system. Their PCs with DVD drives and DVD player software will work fine, but unless they have a conversion DVD player, their TVs won’t work.
