The latest UFOs...O22 switch lanterns - anyone?

I have some old (screw in bulb type) O22 switches that will throw the lantern cover off about once in every 10 actuations. Either the rotating ring with the index tab has swollen over the years, OR the lantern covers themselves have shrunk. What is your favorite method of keeping them tight , but still allowing removal for lamp replacement? I’m using 16 volt constant voltage to the O22s.

Thanks everyone,

A little tape wrapped around the tabs on the lantern should provid enough friction to hold them on. If not, you could try 1 drop of white glue on the rim where the ring touches the lantern. Rubber cement is a non-permenant adhesive that might also work.

I used Woodland Scenics ACCENT GLUE on mine. The glue allows for the repositioning of figures on your layout and comes off very nicely to replace bulbs, even years down the track.
