JHHTrainsPlanes aka Jim, gets my vote. Jim has been the one who has really introduced me to the Coffee Shops, both the Model Railroader and the Trains.

Impossible to vote for just one. Krump- Lupo-Ga. Tom- Cat Tom- Teffy -Noah- Scott and all the rest. The Answer Man, aka Ed Murphy . Can’t separate one above the rest.

I have no idea.

There may be some interesting stuff going on in there, but with approximately 1.73 bazillion postings, I don’t read it. It would take about 3 years to catch up.

I still don’t know what it is, quite frankly.

The Legends of the Coffee Shop are all the people who post there. With them there would be no “Coffee Shop.”

Actually, you don’t need to start from the beginning. All you have to do is go back a couple of pages, or just start following along. The guys are very good about welcoming newcomers.

Maybe the best way to describe what goes on in the coffee shop is to compare it to the social side of a train club. It is a chance to meet the people, and talk trains, or just about anything else.

It may not be to everyone’s taste, but you might like it and make some new friends if you give it a try.
