The need for a Intermodal Terminal At Binghamton NY

Sorry, either my eyes, memory, or fingers failed me as I see it is Broome Cy. My population figure is from the 2005 Rand-McNally '05 Road Atlas. My point was based on a guess that there would be some big box retail operations in the area that could be getting some inbound intermodal thus causing an unbalanced move. I wasn’t suggesting that there would be enough traffic to justify a ramp.

Our town is located 60-80 miles away from the Chicago ramps and there is a fair amount of traffic moving in and out of this area, but all over the road between here and the ramps.

me being from bingo town i would love to see something boost the economey.
but i dont think this will ever happen. just like the passinger rail never took off to meny nimby and no money.

as for ramps i think the susquehanna has one in the binghamton yard i think i saw it on there web page.
