Has anybody seen GE Evolution engine on class 1 railroads?
I’ve seen a few now, I saw one yesterday… here’s a pic of a CN DC GEVO (ES44DC)
CSX and UP have over a hundred evolution engine GE units,each. CN, CP and NS are hot on their heels! The best looking units are NS’ with CN and CP right behind. CSX’ dark blue “dark future” scheme is not very good until it has had a chance to wear, or fade to a nicer shade of blue reminiscent of the B&O and C&O’s blue dip jobs of 40 years ago.
