My initial reaction is that I am not as impressed with this second heritage unit as I thought I would be…I DON"T like the part of the paint job noting the years 1971 and 2011 but I guess that comes with the paint job…we’ll see long term if I like it as time passes.
Apparently Amtrak #822 is painted the same at the first one too.
I think the paint job is okay given the locomotive. The paint scheme would look better the P42’s had a bulldog nose rather than a pug nose [:)]
