today i saw a custom ford or chevy van crusing in new london. it was painted orange with “Orange Blossom Special” and painting of a steam locomotive on the side. otherwise, it appeared to be the typical 1970’s custom van. has anyone else seen this? was the orange blossom special a real train, or what?

Te Orange Blossom Special was a Seaboard Air Line passenger train from New York to Miami.
Johny Cash also had a great song about the Orange Blossom Special. Its on my train song disk.
IHC makes a series of passenger cars from this train. It’s not really accurate, as it’s all the exact same cars that they have in other paint schemes.
Here’s a link to check them out

I think Charlie Daniels does that song best.
After the CSX merger, the Orange Blossom, carried trailers of Tropicana orange juice between Florida and North Jersey.
