The Picture Post

I thought I would start up this post out of curiosity for daily posts of work on the railroads! I did so because I am interested in what other people are doing on their layouts. If you want, post your scale you model, road, and a description of the picture. Sorry about the lack of pictures myself, I have to operate on two diff. computers and I use a jump drive to get images from point A to point B, and haven’t had much time to do so!

This is a leased UP GP38 unit going around the bend after local switching duties at the Bald Mt loading dock.

Local union construction crew working on the new office complex’s

Bald Mt. coal tipple, one of the older structures in Bald Mt. Also a water tower and stationary crane.

Thanks!

The second picture seems to be corrupted, not sure why.

Here’s my photos. I just figured out how to post photos a few days ago!

All the towns are fictional ones on the “temporary” part of my freelanced HO layout.

Nice photos by the way everyone.

Beegle,

Not to discourage your initiative, but that’s what Midweek and Weekend Photo Fun are for. Unfortunately, after a while, this thread will end up getting just horrendously large to wade through for those who only have dialup.

Tom

Hey tstage, I see where you are coming from! I have to use dial-up half of the time, and loading pictures really are a hassle. Once this page becomes 2 or 3 pages long, I will probably start up a PPII, PPIII, and so on. Who knows, some members might pass on this post and it will quickly fade into the many other posts on the forum. I guess dial-up users, unfortunatley, will have to be one of the members who pass.

Nice pics trainman! I’m liking the Chessie engine. Brand and scale of it please?

The newest addition to the fleet… A Bachmann H-16-44 with re-worked pilots and a new paint job and number. Still have a few details to do.

N Scale, btw…

Beegle! Do they still make those girder sets? I’m amazed to see them. I had a set of those 40 years ago when I built my first HO layout. I had a large building under construction that I made with them. Even more amazing, I saved them with the rest of the trains. No space for that on my present layout, but it’s something to consider for the future. What a memory! Thanks.

It’s an HO Atlas U23B. My fav. and best running loco. [8D]

No prob Beasley. I’m not sure if it is still made, alot of the structures on my layout are probably 30+ years old. Good looking scence, but I’m considering redoing it to make it look a little better.

Trainman, thats a good looking loco, I might have to check in on one like that sometime.

Wow TrainManTy Nice looking loco, Atlas Master right? They cost alot but there good looking locos. I got a GP-40 one on my layout. I hate to weather mine, looks too nice.

This is my first post on here, could someone tell me how to post without replying to someones message?Heres a few pics of my n scale stuff, anyone know of a site where you can buy/sell/trade your stuff?

www.therailwire.net and www.scalerailsonline.com both have trading post areas. You just have to sign on as a member.

I am not part of the management of either, this is just an FYI.

There are others as well.

Lee

Thanks for the info.
