The Putty Alternative to Stucco

[;)]I just read the article in MRR, the September issue, about how to use sheet rock mudd to make stucco. Good article and good pictures. I have actually used wall mudd in my house to repair stucco walls. Once painted couldn’t tell.

Back to the subject, the alternative. Take Durhams water putty powder and mix it with acrylic paints; sandstone, white, brown, whatever color, on a butter di***op, great mixing palate; then take a 1/2 inch brush and poke at the mixture, which should be somewhat thick so it stands up, then dob it on the walls of your building. As you move over the wall make sure the putty mixture kind of stands up so it looks like stucco. Let it dry. And that’s it. You have already colored your powered putty, so no painting. Experiment with a blank wall and see how it works.
