can someboudy tell me what the soo switcher in tracy has for a tender? soo 353 an 0-6-0 in rollag has soo 354s tender was the tender swaping a comin thing with the soo or did they have problems with 353s origanal tender that requierd a new one? any info will be agreat help thank you big boy
Never been to Tracy, but the information I have is that that is Soo 346. Appearently both engines spent time in the hands of Koppers Coke, I’m guessing after their Soo days had ended. There were probably others in that series of engines that went to Koppers, and that may be where the mix up occured. Another possibility is that when Koppers bought them there was a problem, as you noted, and they just took a different one.
