The Triple O's Last Project of 2020 Hits the Rails

Aloha All!

Yay! We finished all the projects we set out for ourselves this year! I even came close to mastering the “straight cut.” This last was a project of opportunity prompted by a kind donation of some couplers for a transition car to let our eggliner, the Oma Bea-liner in Triple O service, pull some cars around the railroad. It was a light project while I worried over the mill intended to keep the kids involved, to give me a chance to do battle with “Sabre Saw,” and to make sure we had a suitable car to pull their other home made creations.

The project actually began in September. Kid-zilla immediately recognized the implications of the couplers…

…and we quickly had a little flat car based upon our cane car design…

I give that project a BEE + [:)]

Eric, nice post, look forward to joining the crew again in about a week maybe even finishi “Willy” the kitbashed heisler, Bil

Bill,

Thanks! Nice to see you back up on the nets! I’ve been tinkering with anohter m2075 (battery) rehab in the interim. No progress worth posting, though!

Eric

Very cool project. Love the bee puns too lol. It must be nice having some helpers around on the railroad. [Y]

Thanks! Their interest waxes and wanes. Much depends on what the project is.
