Midweek and Weekend Photo Fun…
Brunton, DITTO!!! my favorite part in MR is trackside photos, and with mid week photofun and weekend photofun, its like having it all the time! plus it REALLY inspires me to do good work on the layout[;)] [:D]
The best topic for me personally was Joe Fugates excellent Scenery Clinic thread, I learned more from that thread than any other, not only the info from Joe but also that offered by ALL the other members.
I still go back and review that thread when I need some info and I am impatiently waiting for the video release.
This had to be one of the most inspiring, well written and informative threads I followed from the beginning, I also used to check everytime I logged in to see if there was an update, if there wasn’t I would be dissappointed.

There are many excellent posts on this forum but Joe Fugates Scenery Clinic thread is the number one for me. That thread gave me answers to so many questions I had for years.

I think my upcoming poll about what brands of chewing gum do you chew is really gonna set the new standard. I mean, we can talk about things like “Bubble gum? No thanks, it’s scenery nite.” “Does Black-Jack or Sen-Sen gum have a place in HO Scale?” And the always controversial, “Is sugar-less gum appropriate during club work nights?”
I’m amazed that a forum which provides the ability to talk to so many modelers at so many levels of accomplishment has so many inane subjects and off topic rants.

I would have to agree. I like looking at all of the pictures everyone posts.
I don’t chew gum. As a matter of fact, I don’t chew ANYTHING that’s stronger than my teeth!! (What few I have left!)

My reasoning?
