I think they’re still waiting for parts to be shipped in from S.D.[;)]
Could it be possible that they are using the parts for scenic ops’ etc.? Or are they scrapping it little by little? Stuff like this you should just go ask the company itself or do some research on that locomotive. Those are all of my suggestions.
Richard: I see you joined this forum today. Welcome. Actually, the Baldwin Locomotive in question has been deader than wedge for a number of years. I found it interesting that someone finally decided to junk it. The picture in your post is familiar. Where is it taken?
There’s an AS-416 at the North Carolina Transportation Museum at Spencer. Don’t know if it’s operational or not…
Murphy, I’ve been on here since June 23rd, but was kicked off yesterday (formerly alstom) and came back today as CSX 4685. I’m asking all the ones I hurt for forgiveness and Bergie, and things seem to be working out well!!!
