It wouldn’t surprise me if Mr. Al K. Hall was riding along in the SUV.
If he wasn’t, that little birdy might have been tweet-tweet-tweeting-along for the ride.
Interesting story, but I think it really belongs on the “Trains” magazine Forum. If you can post here, you can post there.
No critisizing mind you, but this should be a happy place. I don’t think mayhem is appropriate here, idiot caused or otherwise.
Lets see I’ve been on this forum for over 10 years this type of post is posted all the time and you decieded it don’t belong here now.
I don’t remember seeing a post like that on this forum before, but I won’t say you’re wrong. What I said is just my opinion, agree with it or not.
I’m not going to run to the moderators over this, it’s no big deal for me.
Again, just my opinion. If folks don’t agree, that’s OK.
By the way, if you’re interested, there’s a VERY spirited discussion going on in the “Trains” Forum, under “General Discussion”, titled “Playing Chicken With A Train,” if you’d like to know what I think about dummies on the tracks.
RT is 100% correct. These types of posts have been on the CTT forum for the last 12 years or more. Having been a contractor for NS, anything that educates the public about the dangers around tracks is worth every kilobyte of space on this forum. Sitting in the left hand cab seat, I have observed many individuals taking un-necessary chances on and around the tracks. Also, I do not remember a moderator removing any postings dealing with similar situations such as this. If it was inappropriate, I assure you it would be removed.
run to the moderators over what ? nothing wrong has been done I don’t know who you think you are but your the one that made a big deal over a train related story that we do share in this forum always have and probably always will. Yes I’m sure real trains it would been a good place for but we do share real train items in here also quite often.
I read the CTT & MR forums, not real trains.
I got to agree with RT and Buckeye on this. I saw no blood and guts just the sad truth of trains and cars. Happens way to much.
Buckeye is right, anything that educates the public about the dangers around tracks is worth every kilobyte of space on “any” forum.
