Thickness of Laser-cut Kit Materials?

How thick are the materials in most laser-cut kits (micro-plywood, cardstock, plastic, etc.)?

I’m mainly wondering about N and HO scale kits.

I’ve seen micro-plywood as thin as 1/64" but it seems like it might be delicate to handle and possibly warp after a lot of time on the layout.

My limited experience is that the thickness varies a lot, but all need interior bracing. The kits with lots of instructions seem to say that and the others seem to think we all know it.

Haven’t done one yet, though I have a couple waiting for me to take the plunge.

One thing I have seen, is that most folks recommend sealing both sides of the material to prevent warping. This is in addition to the bracing mentioned above.

Good luck,

Richard
