nice work
Nice - I have done some streams before but am always on the lookout for new or better methods. When David was spreading the Sculptamold with the putty knife I was thinking “I’d be in there with my fingers by now” and sure enough, so was David by the end of the scene. Looking forward to seeing the rest of this.

Great video as always David. Don’t fret about the steepness of your banks. From my experience (climbing down a bank on the Shavers Fork for a photo runby of the WVC’s Western Maryland BL2, 82 during the WMRHS’s 2011 convention) your banks are on par with West Virginia’s mountain river banks.
Shouldn’t one’s hands be washed before removing the bridges? Seems like it’s an opportunity for the plaster to transfer to the structures.
This is a great video for me to start the “River Clyde” at Menlo Park California’s West Bay Model Railroad Club. On my home layout, I used a base of Durham’s Water Putty, hollowed out to hold Magic Water. I can see now Sculptamold for the banks and a Hydrocal base will also work. Thanks!

Stan–the easiest way to find the full array of videos in a particular project series is to select “Layouts” from the homepage menu. Next, select “Project Railroads” from the pull-down menu and then click on the “Thin Branch” button – you’ll reveal a grid displaying previews of the videos in the series. – Kent

Why number a video if your not sequencing??? Very annoying having to search for each episode! By the way, David, you make river scene to a layout In part 1 easy. Looking for part 2 now.
