Mookie how is the BNSF Rail traffic down there now? Is it very buisy? Or is it slow? Hopefully if I ever get my truck in shop that is the first place im going Railfanning to when it starts cooling off this year. Corse you never know!
I hope that there are lots of trains. later.
Allan.
Mookie here!
We saw a lot of coal trains on Sat - which is normally a freight day here! Guess that proves the railroad only runs on it’s own unpredictibility.
Unless they do some vast construction, you should be able to catch a lot of traffic whenever you decide. Let me know a little in advance and maybe I can sort of, almost, maybe, kinda predict traffic - HA HA HA!
I didn’t get out on Sunday - took Driver to breakfast and then it was too hot to breathe - so went home and listened to the trains whistle as they were leaving town!
[sigh]
Thank you so much. I know what your talking about about the heat[:O]. I go from my nice cool place to the out side and WOAA! Oh man you talk about a wakeup call real quick!. It’s 90 right now with a Dew point of 70 degrees right now. Sorry no Railfanning for me until the Fall season is here.
Allan.
We have a great overpass for the by-pass that we can park under and watch the trains. If there is a breeze and it isn’t too late in the day, we can open Millie’s windows and let the breeze blow through. It is like holding your breath, tho. You can only do it for so long and then it gets really uncomfortable. Then you go home and go back the next morning!
