Hello Fellow Modelers,
Recently, I was browsing this months MRR magazine as i always do when it arrives. I noticed almost immediatly that a maitenance road would look outstanding in a particular scene on my 2x4. Does anyone have any tips or techniques they could share as it would be greatly appreciated. [bow]

Railroad maintenance personnel have to have easy access to signals and track. Out here in Arizona, most of their access roads are dirt trails parallel to the track, and if you go down one you’re trespassing on railroad property. In some locations, they even have gates and warning signs.
But if you want to model one, just create a couple of ruts running alongside the track.
