It was my father’s as a kid witch makes it at least 50 years old. I have dig. pics I just took of the set. I would like to know where on the cars/set/locomotive I can find where it was made or WHO made it .[?]

Welcome aboard - to post photos you’ll need to have the photos online elsewhere (I just use the web space provided by my ISP) and then type the following, replacing the standard brackets with square brackets:

Great title for a cable tv show. Each week the host could focus on a different train. Segments could include historical background, maintenance, servicing, availability and pricing, and of course running it. Visits to swap meets and serious collector’s homes would also be a great idea.
This week on This Old Train Set, Keith Woodworth’s Lionel 1688 Torpedo . . . I could dig that!
