Kyle, you have done a great job so far. I agree with the others, having built the prototype go ahead and complete the color scheme of the prototype. Are you wanting it to have the same peeling paint look?
To my eye, the sagging porch is a little too overdone on the model, especially if you are going for an accurate model. I would try and flatten the roof out a bit.
I think the sagging porch on the prototype is overdone. The model is great work. The last step will be the weathering. They did a good job with that on the prototype. Thanks for the pics. I look forward to the next set.
Hey Kyle, I feel the sagging roof on the model needs to be exagerated a bit if you want that to help draw the eye to the structure. It is ok as is. The only thing I would consider changing is where the roofline meets the wall the roof is straight then the sag begins away from there.
Very nice model. Please keep updating this thread and I look foreward to the inspiration you provide. I have been eyeing a few buildings here in Riverside to replicate.
Very nice! I think you modeled the sag perfectly. Not too much or too little. As for the comment about the sag needing to go all the way to the roofline, look at the proto shot. It doesn’t.
