This weekends train show in Edison

Hello all, went to a train show this weekend. I felt kinda disapointed in a ways, the reason. Well their are a few, 1) Their were no ho layout displays. Their were displays of almost every other scale except ho, kinda strange considering ho is the most popular. There were displays of o,n,g,etc… But no ho, sorry if it sounds like I’m whining, but I am, ho demands respect to. Anyway number 2) as I was browsing the n scale display, one of the operaters made a comment to me, and I made a comment back stating that I model ho. His remark was ho stands for hughly oversized !!! Of coarse you know this means war ! never mind what else was said. 3) Another thing that bothered me was that the prices at the train show for items such as rolling stock or engines was pretty steep. I mean I did see a few bargains here or there but every thing else was quite pricey. The last train show I attended was fantastic, I walked out with tons of equipment and found a majority of things I needed. This trains show I only left with a few tools some freight cars froms atlas and a vhs video of the Great train story. I just hope the next train show is more promising.

Don’t fret, it will get better, most of the train shows I’ve been to turned out semi ok. That is strange that there wasn’t any HO layouts though. Man …I just wish there was more shows down in my neck of the woods. The only two shows close by are" The best friends of charleston,SC" and in Savannah,GA.

Sure would be nice to be able to go to more train shows.
