That would be my fault. Had posted CONRAIL,CSX, and PENSYLVANIA THEARD I didn’t know that it would sperad like wildfire and have users catch on this strend.
seems silly to me too, but then a lot of what goes on around here seems rather silly and superficial.
I guess that a lot of the BS that went on around here for a long time, that has historically been written off as “star chasing”, has likely been something else (megalomania?) all along?

Seems to me that since I rank #8 on total post count, my star ratings should be weighted to count more than someone who has just a couple hundred posts in total. [:-,]
There are a couple threads here on this board that somehow it just doesn’t seem like enough to only be able to low rate them once, I’d like to be able to rate a few several times, just for effect.[}:)]

Funny how I can rack up 7000 posts easy on a forum where liberals are the predominant political influance to be harrassed, yet it has taken me years to amass just 2K here on a board smothering in conservatives.

I’m not trying to rain on anyone’s parade… but I’ve always gone for quality versus quantity when it comes to the # of posts I accumulate. I have a job and a life not attached firmly to a keyboard and away from a thread about a HOBBY. It’s fun, sure…but I usually have better things to do with my time than post for posting’s sake. Ok…of my [soapbox]

haha thats ok, The forum i was talking about only had a 10 second flood control timer so it was easy to rack up posts. here however I do try to keep my posts down to quality and not quantity. i guess you could say, the other forum is for Quantity and This one if for Quality…
