Not needed at any price !!

It IS so needed!!

Like most Interstates, this is not needed… until it’s fully built from one end to the other. Then it’ll likely be overwhelmed with traffic.

We need $$$ spent on water more than a train to nowhere…

For all of those who constantly claim that the high speed train is not needed, what do you base this opinion on other than you simply, for some reason, hate the idea of this? Please explain.

Mike Weyhrich what part of California do you live? Have you ever been to Madera California north of Fresno? Spend a day or two there. Talk to the people and the Farmers. They will tell you they need more money for there farms and homes. Rail and Bus service is already in the Central Valley with great rail and bus service from Bakersfield to Sacramento. The Gap Between Los Angeles and Bakersfield is the week link of rail service in the state. Money in California first needs to be spent on water and education first with the money the state already has which is miss spent on foolishness in this State.

How many of you have traveled to other countries where the public transportation makes us look like a third world country. We have very poor transportation between cities except for cars. Not everybody is able to drive so they depend on trains and buses. Even trails that were rails are often not allowed to have rails returned. I think the High Speed railway will allow faster travel than by even car to many locations not now served b transportation. No, I amot from California and am proud of it. Here we have at least rail service at aeasonable rate and speed although not across the state as we should have. The buses have ut back as have the trains but the localities remain the same.

Mr. Russell you need to visit the Central valley of California as well to see that this rail system is being built from no where to no where. High speed rail is not needed in this part of California. In the major populated areas light rail is the growing future. Come visit California and see for yourself rather. What is working in the east will not
work out here but do it soon. After all Governor Brown is doings all he can to turn California into a third world state with more illegal aliens with drivers licenses who won’t be in the high speed trains. Start your trip visiting Madera and Fresno first. Then Disneyland where you will like the rail system.
