Time Frame Please for Kato's N Scale PRR Broadway Limited?

When would the the conist in Kato’s N scale Broadway Limited first made its appearance on the PRR? Specfically, is it appropriate to a WW2 era train?

Hi Bob,

Sorry, the Kato Broadway Limited set represents the train as it was re-equipped in 1949. It’s essentially the consist covered in Rob McGonigal’s article, “The 1949 PRR Broadway Limited,” in the the October 1994 Model Railroader. If you use the optional Santa Fe sleeper to represent through New York to Los Angeles service, that particular car didn’t start operating on the Broadway until 1954.
