Early 1950’s, Appalachian coal & lumber country
Baltimore & Ohio branch line with a short line RR up to the mining and logging areas.
HO scale, 3 decks, about 11 x 13 feet, L-shaped.
Construction to start soon (Grrrr… I keep saying that!!!)
One big table, 11 X 8, freelanced mix of about four roads converging at a hamlet whose name I happen to have been grinding over for the past two days…Something Siding, I think. It is transition era, in HO, pegged pretty much in '52, myob (my year of birth). The village is there because of Sentinel Mountain Coal Mines nearby…the company operates one lone 0-6-0 USRA to shunt the small red ore cars up and down.
Be if ever so humble…and flawed…it is still the apple of my eye.

The Moose Bay Railroad is set in the 1960’s. Mixture of passenger, freight and subway trains. Mostly Milwaukee motive power. I use the Life-Like R-17 Redbird subway train and a Bowser PCC car for rapid transit. I like old ice-reefers with beer logos, too.
