An article by John Flann appeared in Model Railroad Planning 2003 concerning the operation of his expanded version of John Allen’s Timesaver layout. I was wondering if the MR staff has an e-mail address for him? There are a few questions that I have about the operation of his layout and if they can be incorperated into mine. My trackplan was loosely based on part of the Rock Ridge layout that appeared in MR about a year ago. It also has some elements that were described in an article about Progressive Rail Inc.
Thanks for any help. Bob
Hello Bob,
We don’t have an e-mail address for John Flann, but even if we did it would be against our privacy policy to post it here. We are glad to forward e-mails to authors when we can, and when we don’t have an e-mail address we can still forward a letter.
Put your letter to John in a stamped envelope with just his name on it, then put that inside another envelope and send it to us. we’ll add the rest of the address to your envelope and send it on.
Best wishes,
Andy

Andy- Thanks for the reply. I was not aware of your privacy policy. I will however do as you suggest and send a letter. Do I send it to anyone in particular so that it will get on to the author of the article?
Thanks again-Bob
Hi Bob,
Address your outer envelope to our editorial assistant, Barb Packenham, at the address shown on page 5 of every issue.
So long,
Andy
