A few years back there was an outfit that attended train shows in Kansas City and perhaps Denver that made new repros of lionel and marx litho buildings and in brass. They had a large display. I have not seen this at any shows in years and cannot find a website, does nayone know anything baout the outfit I speak of ?

MTH still makes Lionel tinplate repros in O and Standard Gauge
I vaguely remember them as well, but this was before I got into tinplate. I don’t think it was the folks that did the wraps for original Marx that V.S was referring to, although I wish they were still around as well. I wish the Flynn’s would get back into the game with their “New Marx” tin. The quality was wonderful, and I see they now they sell original Marx on the internet…I will keep an eye out for any references I can find, because now you have me curious as well. I checked out the Lionel O scale repro’s but of course, they were pricey…I keep one eye on them as time goes on to see if the prices come down but they don’t seem to be on the close out lists yet…
T Reproductions made some outstanding repro’s of the ubber big Buddy L tinplate products
